Hello All,
The second events have been posted for the Southern California Youth Challenge along with some time changes at www.socalyouthchallenge.com. With few dates available we had to run the Foil and Sabre events on the same day. I hope to avoid this for the second half of the season. Also, the SoCal JO quals haven't been posted yet so hopefully our dates won't be compromised.
The SoCal Youth Challenge events are for all levels of unrated Y10, Y12 and Y14 fencers. Please post the flyers at your clubs as well as forward attachments to all eligible fencers. These events are a great way to introduce the new fencers and their parents to competition.
I will send out another email with guidelines and requirements for hosting SoCal Youth Challenge events shortly.
